Wokingham Borough Council have been sign posting Direct Payment customers to Pay Packet since 2015. In December 2016 Jas and her team pulled out all the stops to help WBC engage with over 80 new customers due to our previous independent Accountant having to retire suddenly on medical grounds. Jas and her colleague came all the way from Nottingham for four visits to assist customers to transfer to their services. All applications and Payroll were set up ready for January 2017. Jas and her team are always there for support to all WBC customers and us in the Direct Payment Team. New referrals are dealt with within 24 hours. WBC rarely and I mean rarely have any customer complaints about Pay Packet services, on the rare occasion of which I can think of only three in all the years they are dealt with extremely quickly & resolved. We do have the opportunity to speak to other authorities from time to time, we always ensure to let them know that PayPacket is the Payroll Provider we sign post our customers to. It is so reassuring working with Jas and the team so we thank them very much for all their support and hard work.
